Bylaws
The below details any and all rules of the league that are not covered within the Sleeper platform. Information such as the scoring system and roster size are available there.

Rookie Draft

Seeding
The seeding for rookie draft order is as follows: for teams that did not make the playoffs, seeding is by season Maximum Points For (Max PF). Ties are determined by season PF.
For teams that did make the playoffs, seeding is by order in which teams were knocked out of the playoffs. Ties are determined by season Max PF. For example, if 2 teams are eliminated in round 1 of the playoffs, their seeding is determined by season Max PF, as opposed to a further matchup.
Date
The rookie draft begins at a date and time agreed between league members, often 1-2 weeks following the NFL Draft.
Timing
The rookie draft has no time limit on picks. Managers are expected to make picks in a timely fashion, but are able to explore trade opportunities.
If a manager expects themselves to be unavailable to pick for a period of time longer than 12 hours during the draft, they should inform the commissioner ahead of time.
Free Agency

FAAB Budgets
Each manager receives $1000 FAAB at the beginning of the league year (following the Championship game). This will not reset or refresh until the beginning of the next league year.

Cutting Players
Managers may only cut players where they are picking up another player that they believe will benefit their team, or to make their roster legal (for example following changes in IR designation).
Managers are not permitted to cut players for the sole reason of reducing their points for an upcoming matchup.
Trades

Deadline
The trade deadline is Week 12. Managers will not be permitted to make trades following the conclusion of all games of this week, until the beginning of the next league year.
In-draft
Managers are permitted to make trades during the draft, including trading for picks that are currently on the clock.
Review
There is no trade review period or system. Trades may only be objected to under suspicion of collusion. Managers may raise any suspicions of collusion with the commissioner directly, who will deal with each on a case by case basis.
Lineup Setting

In-season
Managers are required to set a lineup each week that they believe gives them the best chance to win that week’s matchup. Managers may choose to play players with a projected score less than benched players, but may not start players where there is a clear better option available.
Injured/Bye Players
Managers may not start players on a bye week, or players that are injured. Managers must continue to monitor game-time decisions to update lineups in the case of a player designated as ‘Out’ near game-time.
Managers may only start one of the above players if they have no alternative available at that position. Managers are not required to pick up a healthy or non-bye week player to fill in for another if they do not wish to.
Rewards

Division Leaders
The winners of each division each year will be entitled to rename their division for the upcoming year. To do so, they should message the commissioner with their proposed name. The commissioner may decide to request another name, if the proposed name is inappropriate for the league.
