There is less than a week to go until the 2025 Championship Dynasty draft. We have clarity over landing spots and draft pedigree, and a better view of where players will go in the Dynasty draft. How much change will there be from mock draft 1.0? Let's dive in and find out!
1.01 - HChishty
Ashton Jeanty, RB, Las Vegas Raiders
The best RB prospect since Bijan, Jeanty will immediately become an effective NFL and fantasy RB, and has a long career ahead of him at 21 years old. There is very little competition in Las Vegas at the RB position, and the offense should be improved under Geno Smith.
He would lead HChishty's backfield, which desperately needs productive talent. HChishty could get a haul for Jeanty here, and rumours have them open to trading, but RBs like him don't come along every year.
1.02 - MQNKEYMATT
Omarion Hampton, RB, Los Angeles Chargers
Similarly lacking in RB talent, MQNKEYMATT goes for Hampton out of UNC at 2nd overall. Hampton will likely have a high workload under the run-heavy Chargers, despite the team signing Najee in the offseason.
Hampton may have been the #1 overall pick in another year, and has both running and receiving skills to offer.
1.03 - jackmeenan
Travis Hunter, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars
Despite only having 4 RBs on their roster, jackmeenan has 2 top tier starters in Gibbs and Taylor, so opts for WR here.
There is some clarity over Hunter's position, and given the Jag's choice to trade up for him, enough for jackmeenan to take him at #3 overall here. He should be at minimum a solid WR2 in Jacksonville, and Liam Coen's offense has supported multiple WR1s before, so could even reach BTJ's own scoring ceiling.
1.04 - Scuba_Eli via ajcsmit
Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Carolina Panthers
Picking at #6 as well, Scuba_Eli opts for the best WR on the board here, comfortable with the other choices later in the draft.
McMillan should immediately challenge for the WR1 position in Carolina, and with Bryce Young improving in the back half of last year McMillan could be a starter on Scuba_Eli's squad this year.
1.05 - leathershoe4
TreVeyon Henderson, RB, New England Patriots
With Breece Hall being their only surefire starter, leathershoe4 opts for an RB. Henderson is on a better offense than Judkins, and should immediately slot in as a starter for leathershoe4. They pick again at #9, and may pick up a WR or TE of value at that spot with the RB cliff coming soon.
1.06 - Scuba_Eli
Quinshon Judkins, RB, Cleveland Browns
After taking TMac at #4, Scuba_Eli adds an RB here with their RB room running out of viable options. While Judkins may be on a subpar offense, an RB drafted in the second round has a very high hit rate and an almost guaranteed workload - even if Dylan Sampson may cut into this.
1.07 - AndyP
Kaleb Johnson, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Not far removed from a Championship, AndyP is seeing their RB room wither, with roles for Rachaad White and Travis Etienne diminishing.
They stick with their Mock Draft 1.0 choice here, opting for Kaleb Johnson. Johnson should get good volume in Pittsburgh, and AndyP has had success with good pure runners as part of their team before.
1.08 - amccann
Tyler Warren, TE, Indianapolis Colts
Despite hitting on Bucky Irving last year, amccann could still go with some more talent at the RB position. However, with Mark Andrews' future uncertain, Warren could step in as the next starter.
Warren looks to have a clearer path to targets than Loveland, and may be at worst a low-TE1, given the poor landscape of the position.
1.09 - leathershoe4 via bdawg Emeka Egbuka, WR, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Their second 1st rounder, leathershoe4 goes for the third WR off the board here. Egbuka may not have huge volume in year one, but should provide a high floor as a reliable slot, and there is recent precedent for success in JSN's breakout year.
1.10 - Wham921
Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers
With little need for TE and no need to reach for an RB, Wham921 simply takes the next best receiver here. Golden is in a crowded WR room, but obviously has the highest draft pedigree. Green Bay is an ascending offense with opportunities for big plays, and would be a good addition to Wham921's competing roster.
1.11 - RobbieK
R,J, Harvey, RB, Denver Broncos
Coming agonisingly close to a Championship, RobbieK still has a clear need at the RB position. They take the next highest drafted RB in Harvey - a surprise at #60 overall, but in a good situation with volume available, Harvey may be able to be slotted in as an RB2 or Flex. If RobbieK can get a reliable 12 points a week or so, their star players could carry them the rest of the way.
1.12 - Xuande
Colston Loveland, TE, Chicago Bears
The returning Champion is one of many teams with an aging and unsure RB corps - but the choices here would be a definite reach in the first round. Instead they opt for insurance and eventual replacement for George Kittle in Loveland.
Loveland was the first TE drafted - he may have significant target competition, but has the pedigree and athleticism to carve out a productive role for himself, and at worst be a bye week or poor matchup fill-in for Kittle.
