The 2022 NFL Draft is now complete, and 262 prospects now have a home in the pros. The fantasy prospects we have been looking at for months now have their own teams, with all the opportunities and restrictions that means.
The Championship Dynasty draft will look very different as a result of all this - with QBs and RBs dropping, will managers reach to secure their guy or try to get value in the 2022 class?
1.01 - leathershoe4
Breece Hall, RB, New York Jets
As the first RB drafted, Hall is the most sure back. The Jets are yet to prove that they can be an explosive NFL offense, but investments into that side of the ball should make leathershoe4 excited to draft the top RB prospect in the 2022 class.
1.02 - bdawg
Drake London, WR, Atlanta Falcons
One of the 6 WRs that went in the first round, London was taken #8 overall by the Falcons ahead of all of them. His situation is mixed, to be generous - the Falcon's offense overall projects to be bottom-tier, but there is no competition for London in that WR room. Bdawg will hope London can be a target hog, and that Atlanta will get their franchise QB next year.
1.03 - tburchfield
Garrett Wilson, WR, New York Jets
The 2nd Jet off the board, Wilson was the 2nd WR drafted but the 1st on a lot of analysts' boards. There is significant competition for targets with the Jets, but tburchfield will hope that Zach and Garrett will grow into a great NFL duo together; and propel them to a championship.
1.04 - superman14
Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
Very much in a rebuild phase with 3 2023 1st already, superman14 takes the upside pick here with Burks. A great athlete now with a window to produce early, Burks could replace AJ Brown as the most productive Titans receiver, and has the measurables to be a potential Dynasty star.
1.05 - leathershoe 4 via jerrr
Kenneth Walker, RB, Seattle Seahawks
The 2022 NFL Draft left very few decent RB prospects on the board for Dynasty, so superman14 snaps the 2nd up here. Leathershoe4 will hope their 2nd of 4 1sts will land them a reliable RB with a good amount of opportunity to offset their lack of pass catching.
1.06 - Xuande
Chris Olave, WR, New Orleans Saints
The Saints saw enough to trade up for Olave, so Xuande will hope that he can separate himself from the other Saints receivers. A top 11 receiver at #6 overall isn't bad value, and with the success of recent 'slot' prospects at the NFL level Olave could be a cornerstone piece of both Xuande and the Saints.
1.07 - leathershoe4 via MQNKEYMATT
Jameson Williams, WR, Detroit Lions
With the top 2 RBs on their roster already, leathershoe4 grabs a WR here. Williams won't play til partway through the year but that won't be a problem with leatherhoe4 firmly in their rebuild phase, and may develop well with the likely rookie QB that Detroit will draft high next year.
1.08 - RobbieK
James Cook, RB, Buffalo Bills
With RBs few and far between in this draft, RobbieK opts for the next highest drafted RB to improve their thin corps. Cook will most likely fit into the 3rd down back role in Buffalo, although RobbieK will hope that Cook can supplant the other members of the Buffalo backfield and be tied to Josh Allen for years to come.
1.09 - leathershoe4 via ajcsmit
Christian Watson, WR, Green Bay Packers
The last of their 4 picks sees leathershoe4 balancing their picks. The second high-upside WR pick, Watson has a lot to learn in the NFL but gets immediate opportunity with Green Bay, and has many of the measurables to develop into a star Dynasty WR.
1.10 - amccann
Jahan Dotson, WR, Washington Commanders
The last of the first round WRs to go, Dotson has not been drafted into an excellent situation; but his speed and athleticism reveal a potential productive NFL starter. With little other competition for the Commanders besides McLaurin, amccann may see Dotson as a valuable solid contributor in the later picks.
1.11 - Scuba_Eli
George Pickens, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers
If the trend of Pittsburgh receivers continues, Pickens will be a great value here. With all the physical tools needed to be a contributor to the Steelers' crowded WR room, Scuba_Eli may hope Pickens develops with Pickett - and the new duo can immediately succeed, to help them return to the Championship game.
1.12 - AndyP
Skyy Moore, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
The current Champion, AndyP quickly shored up their glaring QB need, trading for Kirk Cousins. With none of the QBs a real value here anyway, they decide to add a WR with an excellent situation. Moore was the 13th WR drafted, but with Hill out of town AndyP may see Moore as a good combination of upside and opportunity.
